On Friday I was chatting with Tim about the ideas I've had with regards to my Major Project. Of the three ideas I had we agreed that there are two that have the potential to make for good Major Projects. You can check out my post about my ideas here. The two ideas that we both thought had the potential to be turned into Major Projects were the first two, my online video conversion/hosting package and the idea for a WebApp for quoting and referencing things.

I've not yet decided which of the two I really want to pursue through to completion as both strike me as good ideas, and both have their upsides and downsides. So I'm planning on taking a week or two to experiment with various aspects of each to see which seems to fit with me better. Today has the first little piece of said experimentation, playing around with handling selected text on web pages, along with collecting some other little bits and pieces of information.

I don't really have a whole lot more to mention in this particular post, as it's just a quick update on what I'm doing. You can check out the quick demo I've thrown together here.
